Join us on Saturday, April 5, at 8:30 AM at Plantation Pub, located at 8321 Sawyer Brown Rd., Nashville, TN as we welcome Dr. Achintya Ray, a tenured full professor at the TSU College of Business (AACSB accredited). Our topic will be Nashville’s economic stagnation and financial challenges.
Dr. Achintya Ray is a tenured full professor at Tennessee State University’s College of Business (AACSB accredited), located in Nashville, TN. His expertise lies in applied microeconomics, econometrics, statistical methods, game theory, and health economics. He holds a Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University, where he specialized as a health economist, and has additional post-doctoral training in accounting and finance from the University of Florida, along with certifications in data science, big data, and cybersecurity from MIT.
Dr. Ray is an accomplished academic and advisor, serving on the Harvard Business Review Advisory Council, the Advisory Board of Audaz Capital (a venture capital firm focused on social mobility…
